Loss of Creativity: How AI is Taking Away My Dream as a 3D Artist

I Lost everything that made me love my work ….

I am a 3D artist and sometimes I make artwork for games.
My Job is different now since Midjourney v5 came out last month. I am not an artist anymore, nor a 3D artist. Rn all I do is prompting, photoshopping and implementing good-looking pictures.

The reason I went to be a 3D artist in the first place is gone. I wanted to create form In 3D space, sculpt, and create. With my own creativity. With my own hands.

I don’t want to make “art” that is the result of scraped internet content, from artists, that were not asked. However, its hard to see, results are better than my work.

Getting a job in the game and design industry is already hard. But leaving a skill, because AI took my job feels very dystopian. I am between grief and anger. And I am sorry for using your Art, fellow artists because of Midjourney

I just saw an AI prompt add on for Blender this past week….soo yeah I think it can learn it overnight. Better wake up and smell the diodes….a change is coming and its only good for the rich people who won’t hesitate to replace you with an AI prompt and a Boston dynamics robot running android.

You are only respected in society for your contribution in economic growth not because you are human. Rich people are not humans. They are ruthless and want money. The market doesn’t care about “human creativity”, just for efficiency and profit margins

Wakeup call to all not an AI revolution but a human disaster is coming that too at the psychological and ethical level where only the rich and the big fish will be benefited and you will lose everything your morals, ethics, psychological health, self-expression and you will not be satisfied by the job you are doing.

Here is list of unethical and disastrous things currently going on in the world of AI

1. Midjourney is replacing artists.
2. ChatGPT is replacing HRs and writers .
3. NVIDIA AI can generate 3d models
4. Spline can generate 3d models just by some prompts
5. Virtual interns will replace IT professionals
6. Virtual avatars are already replacing fashion models
7. Sketchfab database has already been scrapped to create the next 3D model generator , even my models are scrapped by rich players
